The role: Senior Advisor/People Advisory
Location: Perth - Leederville
Start Date: ASAP
Engagement type: Labour hire
Contract Length: 6-months (possible extension)
Pay: $73 per hour
Hours: Full time - 38 per week
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor – People Advisory to provide high‑quality HR
guidance, coaching and support to leaders and employees across a wide range of people
management and employment relations matters. This role plays a key part in building capability,
improving culture, and supporting effective people outcomes.
You MUST have proven Case Management experience, including workplace
investigations, performance management, misconduct matters, and fitness‑for‑work
cases.
Key Responsibilities:
○ Provide accurate, timely advice to leaders and employees on HR policies, processes, and employment matters.
○ Interpret and apply enterprise agreements, awards and employment contracts.
○ Support implementation of HR initiatives, projects and systems.
○ Conduct workplace investigations in line with policy.
○ Coach leaders on performance improvement processes and behavioural issues.
○ Support the delivery of disciplinary outcomes.
○ Manage fitness‑for‑work matters (non-work-related injuries/illnesses).
○ Analyse case data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
○ Contribute to submissions for external claims and represent the organisation in conciliations/hearings when required.
○ Support leaders to identify and address HR/ER issues.
○ Deliver training, coaching and knowledge sharing across the business.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within People & Safety.
○ Ensure HR practices comply with legislation, policies and the Code of Conduct.
○ Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters appropriately.
Key Capabilities & Skills:
○ Significant HR Generalist experience in a medium–large organisation.
○Extensive experience in end‑to‑end Case Management (investigations,
performance, misconduct, fitness-for-work).
○ Strong capability in coaching leaders and resolving grievances/disputes.
○ Skilled in interpreting industrial instruments and HR policy.
○ Strong communication, relationship‑building and problem‑solving skills.
○ Ability to analyse people's data and provide insights for improvement.
○Experience in a complex, multi-disciplined organisation
Qualifications & Experience:
